Data protection declaration

We collect, use and store your personal data exclusively within the scope of the regulations set out in the Federal Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany. Information is given below about the method, scope and purpose of the collection and use of the data.

Collection and processing of data
Each visit to our website and each download of a file stored on this website is logged. Storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following items are logged: name of the file downloaded, date and time of the download, amount of data transferred, report of successful retrieval, web browser used and requesting domain. In addition, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged. Further personal data are recorded only if the user of the website and/or customer supplies data voluntarily, for instance within the context of an enquiry or a registration or to conclude a contract or via the settings of his web browser.
Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent when a website is visited and stored intermediately on the website user's and/or customer's hard disk. If the corresponding server of our website is visited again by the website user and/or customer, the website user's and/or customer's browser sends the previously received cookie back to the server. The server can evaluate the information received due to this procedure in a number of ways. For example, cookies can control the display of advertising or facilitate navigation to a website. If the website user and/or customer wishes to disable the use of cookies, he can do so by making changes to the settings of the browser that he uses on his computer, i.e. the program used to open and display websites (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari).

Use and passing on of personal data
If the user of our website has provided personal data, we use it only for answering the website user's and/or customer's enquiries, for handling contracts concluded with the website user and/or customer and for technical administration. We will only pass on or otherwise transmit personal data to third parties if this should be necessary for the purposes of handling contracts or for billing or if the website user and/or customer has given his prior consent. The website user and/or customer has the right to revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

The personal data stored is only deleted if the website user and/or customer revokes his consent to the storage, if knowledge of it is no longer required in order to fulfil the purpose of the storage or if its storage is impermissible for other legal reasons. Data for billing and accounting purposes are not affected by a demand for deletion.

Google Analytics
Our website uses the analysis service Google Analytics. This web analysis service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (referred to below as Google for short).

This analysis tool works on the basis of cookies. A cookie is a text file that is sent when a website is visited and stored intermediately on the website user's hard disk in order to enable analysis of his use of the website. The information stored by the cookie is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Within the context of IP anonymisation, Google will shorten your IP address before transmission if your IP address belongs to an EU Member State or to another member state of the European Economic Area. On our behalf, Google will use the information transmitted for the purpose of compiling a report on the use of the website. Google will not associate your browser’s IP address transmitted for Google Analytics purposes with any other data held by Google. If you wish to disable the use of cookies, you can do so by making changes to the settings of the browser that you use on your computer (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari), i.e. the program used to open and display websites. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and its processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided under this link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Right to information
On written request we will inform website users and/or customers about the personal data that we hold for them. The request is to be directed to the address given in the imprint for the website.
